Cake decorator / pastry chef
Immediate hire. Join our team. Seeking full time experienced cake decorator or pastry chef for established commercial bakery in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to produce standard cakes (e.g. chocolate fudge cake, black forest, strawberry shortcake, etc) and decorated cakes (e.g. birthday cakes, special occasion) according to our specifications. Must be able to stand for long hours. Must maintain high standards and have the willingness to be open to learning. In addition, skills as a pastry chef desired but not required. This involves producing mini French and Italian pastries (eclairs, cream puffs, petit fours, cannoli, tea cakes, etc. Hours vary according to seasons and holidays. Cake decorators and pastry chefs must comply with all safety and risk management policies and procedures. Looking for good people to join our team and help us grow. Salary commensurate with level of experience and production ability.
