Assisted Living Administrator

We are looking for an Assisted Living Administrator. Our beautiful residential community has been voted Best of Cortez for 10 years and running. Our community provides the opportunity to spend time with residents and serve as part of a committed team with the goal of providing a supportive, safe and home-like environment for residents. The Assisted Living Administrator facilitates and leads the Assisted Living community and team and is responsible for planning and directing all day-to-day functions of the assisted living in accordance with applicable organization, federal, state, and local standards to assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents.
Responsibilities: • Plans, coordinates, and oversees the delivery of highest quality care providing technical guidance and instruction to staff in conjunction with physician’s orders, and established policies, procedures and standards. • Monitor and evaluate work performance of staff to ensure compliance with established standards. • Keep abreast of State and Federal regulations about licensing and certification and ensure preparation for inspections by various agencies. • Establish and assess the goals and objectives of the department including monitoring budget performance and making recommendations for future budget needs.
Qualifications: • Ability to effectively manage, supervise and motivate a diverse team daily to provide the best resident care. • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the corporate off-site team in formulating and implementing strategies for the organization/community. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Certification as Assisted Living Administrator/ Colorado a plus • QMAP qualification a plus
Requirements: • Experience in long term care and with some supervisory experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field a plus • CPR/First Aid Certification a plus
Starting salary is $60,000.
