Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure that LaSOR services are being delivered to meet evidenced-based practices for medication assisted treatment, opioid use disorder and telehealth. Under the general supervision of the LaSOR program manager, incumbent’s mission is to ensure that LaSOR services are being delivered based on established standards and best practices for medication assisted treatment (MAT) and the treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD).
Incumbent will: plan Quality Management protocols by identifying quality requirements and/or standards for the project and its deliverables and documenting how the project will demonstrate compliance with quality requirements and/or standards; develop and implement a quality and instruction plan to ensure fidelity to evidence based practices for MAT, the treatment of OUD and telehealth; work with LSUHCS LaSOR staff and OBOT staff to ensure quality services are being delivered to LaSOR patients. Incumbent is responsible for adhering to all relevant rules, regulations and procedures while driving efficiencies and maximizing resources in support of the Department of Psychiatry, SOM, and LSUHSC’s mission. All duties will be accomplished with a high degree of independence, timeliness, confidentiality and initiative.
Required: Master's in Social Work or related field of study in professional counseling and addiction treatment
Required Licenses: LCSW, LPC, or LAC; and valid in good standing government issued driver's license. Minimum 1 year experience with treatment of addictive disorders
Preferred: 2 years experience in a professional administrative leadership role
