Senior HR Specialist Talent Acquisition
Manage the talent acquisition process for primarily exempt recruitment and serve as a strategic partner providing comprehensive talent acquisition consultation.

Position Specific Accountabilities

Develop and maintain a trusted strategic partnership with hiring managers by utilizing talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit and select high-quality candidates for exempt staff across the university.

May act as an advisor for search committees.

Participate in the development of talent acquisition plans that support and execute diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Provide a high-quality candidate experience throughout the selection process including but not limited to, interviews, offer negotiation, and new hire onboarding.

Facilitate Workday technical and functional trainings for talent acquisition.

Serve as talent acquisition SME for L&D and DEI trainings.

Review and approve Workday tasks including hires, job changes, and job requisitions.

Conduct exit interviews and coordinate off-boarding of employees for assigned areas.

Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports.

Manage temporary staff report.

Respond to inquiries and provide tier-2 Workday support for talent acquisition.

Represent the University and the Human Resources department at events and job fairs, within the human resources community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required.

Conduct or participate in special projects and other HR initiatives, as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

- Typically a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of benefit regulation/policy changes.

Minimum 4 years human resources experience, encompassing experience in the major disciplines of human resources management. Talent acquisition experience highly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of current human resources 'best practices,' employment law, and policy and procedure interpretation.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by experience in preparing reports and other business communications.

Team player with a high sense of urgency to interact at all levels of the organization.

Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.

Highly developed organizational and analytical skills.

Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of HRIS systems. Workday recruiting and/or HCM experience is preferred.
