Data Services Specialist
The specialist works as part of a team responsible for the collection, management and reporting of LeadingAge member data. The specialist supports the expansion of the Data Governance program at LeadingAge. They will be responsible for data storage, data hygiene, data quality and structure of the data housed in Nimble/Salesforce. The role will work across functional teams, operations, and technology to support, expand, and enhance all foundational areas of Data Governance which include standardizing data definitions, supporting change management, analyzing, and building data quality metrics, establishing data policies/processes, and supporting data stewardship. The Data Services Specialist will also support key business process that require the validation and processing of data.
Requires an Associate degree or equivalent of education and 3 years experience managing data and data quality improvements. AMS or CRM database experience required, working in a non-profit environment preferred. Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and data integrity. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and/or Access. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team to accomplish tasks and goals. Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills. Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills. Ability to plan and prioritize activities aligned to changing demands, balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
