Project Manager
Kettelhut Construction, Inc. is an established successful commercial building firm located in Lafayette, Indiana. Due to our continued and calculated growth, we have outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team of construction professionals. The Project Manager will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of projects within the Kettelhut portfolio.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
PM Typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimates costs
- Oversee all construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper techniques
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 2-3+ years of Project Management experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
