The RN Clinical Manger provides oversight of the day to day operations of the department. The Clinical Manager analyzes, develops, and implements methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services. In addition, the Clinical Manager creates an environment that promotes the provision of patient centered, specialized, and evidence-based nursing care, across the continuum, through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. This position contributes to the goals of the department and the Department of Nursing. The Clinical Manager is accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH. The professional practice of nursing at JHACH involves the promotion of a culture of innovation and a commitment to academic growth and professional development. This position contributes to the professional development and growth of nursing personnel in the practice environment.
Qualifications: BSN required. Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse. Certification in area of specialty. Minimum of two years' experience at the supervisor level. Basic Life Support, American Heart Association Certifications. Physical ability to perform all aspects of patient care, including CPR on all patients ranging in age from neonate. Read/write/speak and understand English. Experience with hospital staffing operations and development of supplemental staffing pool is preferred.
