UI Extension Educator-Freemont County, Horticulture and 4-H Youth Development Col of Agricultural & Life Sciences University of Idaho Extension is seeking applicants for a 12-month, tenure track position as Assistant or Associate Professor, Extension Educator in horticulture and small farms, 4-H youth development, and integrated pest management. This position requires an earned Master’s degree from an accredited institution in horticulture, agricultural science, Extension education, youth development, or a closely related discipline. Salary commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- An earned Master’s degree from an accredited institution in horticulture, agricultural science, Extension education, youth development, or a closely related discipline. The required degree(s) must be completed by the date of hire.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with individuals and groups of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and competence in using technology for program delivery, record keeping, reporting, and team-based communications.
