The Role:
The Corporate Account Manager role serves InVitria's core business and some of our largest accounts. The position will focus on building strong relationships and developing strategic partnerships to promote revenue growth and support product adoption. The role requires a passion for the Life Sciences, and excellent business and financial literacy.
The candidate will work closely with team members including Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Product Applications and Marketing. The role acts as a relationship champion across the organization and represents the needs of the customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategies to maximize potential sales qualified opportunities within Corporate Accounts. Maintain sales qualified opportunities within Salesforce.com and effectively communicate potential demand quantities and timing. Maintain an up to date set of contacts at key accounts and improve intelligence that drives knowledge and closes more sales qualified opportunities.
- Negotiate, structure, and close supply agreements with Corporate Accounts working collaboratively with subject matter experts in product development, quality, supply chain, legal and management.
- Develop financial models to represent economic justification for deal structure including NPV analysis, scenario modeling, and risk mitigation scenarios.
- Represent InVitria at relevant trade shows and industry events to build strong relationships with Corporate Accounts and drive a larger share of business within each target account for chemically defined and blood-free cell culture components.
- Travel to customer locations domestically and internationally to facilitate relationships and strategic partnerships. Expected travel is approximately 30-50%.
- Understand applicable regulatory requirements and work with InVitria subject matter experts to bring value to customers and help customers improve regulatory efficiency, speed to clinic and speed to market.
- Understand and evangelize key value propositions of the product in terms of technical applications in key market segments (cell therapy, gene therapy, T-cell immunotherapy, vaccine development, regenerative medicines, etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements
- MBA is strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree in STEM, or finance, economics, business administration, or related field;
- Life Sciences account management experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com & Microsoft Office
- Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proven negotiation skills
- Experience with financial modeling (NPV, valuations, deal structuring)
- Excellent oral presentation skills with experience presenting technical information
- Familiarity of relevant markets including, biotech, gene therapy, cell therapy, vaccines, and regenerative medicine
