As our Lead Dental Assistant, you are highly skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care, and still you can make smooth office procedures for our patients. Your genuine care is transmitted in all interactions to the patients you serve. Responsibilities
- Patients are our number one priority, and we always want to do what is best for them.
- Encourage efficient and office-focused use of time and discussions.
- Lead and participate in staff meetings with skills including facilitation, training, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the doctor and other team leaders on resolving conflicts that affect daily operations.
- Support of the overall goals and strategies, per the Annual Plan.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Engage and foster patients through a positive experience.
- Engage in the Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, My Day, and Weekly/Monthly Reports to be accountable for the systems involved in the back-office experience.
- Supervise and monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.).
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in dentistry or related field.
- Experience with Dental Softwares, similar to Dentrix, Eaglesoft dental software, Curve or MacPractice
- Strong knowledge of Dental operations
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended functions (RDAEF) as per state requirements
- State requirements such as CPR certification and/or Radiology Certification, etc.
- Must possess a strong desire to meet performance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
