As a B2B Tech Digital Marketing Account Manager at Ideas Collide, you will bring your strong client service ethic to provide excellent account management and strategic expertise to our B2B Technology clients. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients and thrive in understanding and owning their unique challenges and businesses. Bringing an expert understanding of the technology industry will allow you to truly be an extension of our clients' marketing teams.
Our B2B team focuses primarily on email and marketing automation campaigns for software developers and B2B tech partner marketing programs. In your day-to-day work, you can count on developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication strategies to achieve your client's business objectives and seek to measure success against client's goals.

B2B Tech Digital Marketing Account Manager - Core Responsibilities
- Manage large, multi-faceted client projects autonomously and in team settings.
- Collaborate with the strategy and relationship marketing team on strategies for clients and provide QA support as needed.
- Work with our strategy, marketing automation team, and clients to define campaign objectives, strategies track results, and provide regular updates to clients.
- Analyze the customer journey across an integrated marketing campaign and recommend optimization strategies.
- Lead our production teams through the design and build of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns inclusive of primarily email components but also containing social, media, and content assets (white papers, video, program guides).
- Drive performance reporting of digital marketing campaigns and their business impact, analyze key metrics and provide insights for optimizations.
- Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategies based on knowledge of client objectives, market characteristics, and other influencing factors.
- Develop deep understanding of client CRM and data systems to help advise on automation capabilities, data architecture, and email segmentation.
- Assist with email list management to help target the right audience based on automation platforms and lists/criteria received from client.
- Present project, ideas, and strategies with confidence and authority to colleagues and clients.
- Develop and edit copy in collaboration with agency copywriting team.
- Maintain vendor/partner relationships pertaining to the project at hand as needed
- Manage project scope to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, expectations, and within budget.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders with diplomacy and tact.
- Lead teams to success and manage/delegate tasks effectively.
- Engage in projects that support/advance the agency initiatives.
- Leverage insights and data to identify ways to grow revenue, customer engagement, and conversion.
Digital Marketing Account Manager - Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations or related.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience required in B2B tech marketing, advertising, communications, PR or related field. Email marketing automation experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Marketing Automation tools like Eloqua, Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc. and how they can be used to drive successful marketing campaigns strongly preferred.
- Love of the technology industry, learning and the desire to embody the sense of curiosity and innovation.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end campaign execution, including strategy design; effective email, landing page, and form practices; deploying campaigns with careful segmentation; and monitoring and reporting out results.
- Experience working with enterprise CRM data systems for email audience segmentation and management.
- Experience developing creative briefs to provide clear, concise direction to teams for project execution.
- Strong understanding of content marketing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment.
- Capable of drawing correlations between performance data from multiple sources to align with client marketing objectives (i.e. email engagement data, paid search data, social data, web engagement data).
- Experience working with clients to set full funnel KPIs and developing reports that match back to those benchmarks on an ongoing basis.
- Sound communication and facilitation skills to lead projects and positively influence cross-functional collaborators both internally and externally.
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; willingness and ability to learn and utilize new systems/tools as needed. Experience using Power Point to create clean, client-ready slide decks.
- Strong relationship development and management skills; ability to communicate professionally in person and via email, phone, video.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and follow-through; strong prioritization and time-management skills.

Your compensation will be a combination of salary and company benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) company match, weekly paid discovery and volunteer time options, hybrid-of remote and in-office either based in Phoenix, Arizona or Portland, Oregon.
