Technical Project Manager, IBM Corporation, Columbus, Ohio (Up to 100% Telecommuting Permitted): Manage overall delivery and scope of the schedule, budget, communications, risks, issues, dependencies and tracking all deliverables and milestones and resources. Combines Project Management expertise with an understanding of the technology enabling the clients Cloud Migration delivery. Demonstrate technical expertise and lead in cloud migration and modernization skill which includes public cloud like Azure, Office 365, AWS, GCP and Open Shift. Enforce project changes management to determine if a change is in scope or requires a project change requests. Work closely with technical leaders on the delivery team. Understand and facilitate technical discussions with the delivery team, support and help resolve technical issues impacting delivery. Answer high level technical questions without a dependency on additional technical resources. Leverage strong client facing skills and operate as a trusted advisor on modernization solutions, easily bridge business solutions and technology. Stay abreast of new technologies that support proposing new innovative approaches to the client. Continually learn from SMEs. Quickly identify when a problem exists, communicate it and address it early. Utilize Azure, Open Shift, Power Shell, Office 365, SharePoint & SQL.
Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience years of experience as a Project Manager. One (1) years of experience must include utilizing Azure, Open Shift, Power Shell, Office 365, SharePoint & SQL.
