We are excited to announce a new position for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This an exciting opportunity for a creative and energetic individual to create a consistent vision for sales and marketing across all of Givens Communities.
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee sales, marketing, branding, advertising, and public relations strategies for Givens Communities.
What you'll do:
- Develop, execute, implement, and continuously improve strategic short and long-term marketing and sales strategies that support the mission and vision of Givens Communities
- Work alongside the Marketing teams to achieve high occupancy rates across campuses
- Strategize, implement, and oversee brand development and graphic standards
- Responsible for overseeing all digital and traditional marketing, including lead-generating activities for the Givens' portfolio of senior living communities and business segments
- Create high-performing marketing teams by providing leadership, including hiring, training, developing, and incentivizing outstanding and enthusiastic professionals
- Provide support in developing materials for Givens Communities philanthropy efforts
- Communicate new product information to all internal and external stakeholders to produce successful financial performance
- Monitor performance and ROI of all sales channels and initiate strategic shifts as needed
- Develop financial budgeting and performance metrics while assuming responsibility for attainment of all sales and marketing goals
- Develop, review, and manage the content of all messaging and branding regarding the graphic standards, communications program, all marketing materials, direct mail pieces, newsletters, internet, social media, advertising strategies for selected media and publications in the primary market area as well as selection of advertising strategies for the secondary market for all of the communities and services including philanthropy
- Ensure the brand positioning for the Givens Communities brand and each community's brand is communicated properly internally and externally
- Oversee development and coordination with each community for the execution of expansions to ensure brand standards are met to the organization's needs
- Monitory digital spaces for each community while setting goals and creating synergy across all communities
- Initiate and analyze market research to provide necessary data for decision making regarding new projects and product launches
- Devise marketing plans for new products including service description and lead generation techniques, forecasting, pricing and introduction
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or marketing or related field, Master's degree preferred
- At minimum, 5-6 years of senior level management in marketing and sales field
- Strong background in strategic planning and implementation, marketing strategy development and execution, advertising campaign programming, and successful public relations efforts
- Experience in marketing in the senior living, Life Plan Community, or Home Health Industry preferred
- Experience making presentations for individuals as well as large groups of people
- Must have knowledge of structuring sales quota goals, revenue expectations, and possessing contracting, negotiating, and change management skills
- Knowledge of fair housing laws preferred
- Must have experience developing and interpreting sales and marketing related metrics
- Must have knowledge and experience to close a sale
- Must have excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
