Gannett’s B2B Marketing team is looking for a flexible, creative Engagement Marketing Specialist to join our driven and passionate marketing team. Reporting into Brand Marketing, the engagement marketing specialist supports our ambitious vision by creating meaningful interactions with businesses and marketing decision makers that drives traffic, engagement, brand awareness, leads, and customer success for both the LOCALiQ digital marketing solutions brand. In this role, you’ll be asked to brainstorm, contribute and develop ideas in support of growing awareness, customer base and value for the LOCALiQ brand. The right person for the role has a creative growth mindset, great operational skills and a strong grasp of digital marketing and client engagement tactics.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of brand building, engagement and custom marketing campaigns across multi-channel sales strategies and initiatives, through copywriting, testing, communications, reporting and ad scheduling.
- Increase audience engagement on social media with the LOCALiQ brand: Managing followers, monitoring comments/mentions, keeping up with best practices, creation of video and other formats to engage leads across the funnel.
- Grow value with our customers through compelling storytelling that promotes our content and product knowledge to align with our business goals and customer personas, then execute on those ideas.
- Work closely with cross-functional B2B teams and sales enablement partners, including demand gen, content and design to meet campaign objectives and maintain brand standards and consistency.
- Stay up to date with trends in engagement marketing and actively test new platform and channel tactics.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in a client engagement or other marketing role.
- Experience with social media marketing and visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with online marketing basics. Working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook advertising, video, and other digital marketing channels and platforms is a big plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- Experience at a software, SaaS, or B2B company is a plus.
