Position:
- First Officer Position, Full-Time, Citation CJ-4 (CE-525C), Part 91 corporate aircraft, no charter, 400 hours annually, rotating schedule
Description:
- Fair Wind Air Charter has an opening for this full time First Officer Position on a Cessna Citation CJ4 aircraft based at Rochester, New York (KROC). Aircraft to be professionally turn-key managed by Fair Wind Air Charter. Three (3) full-time pilot crewing with contract pilot backup to cover vacation, sick, and training days.

The first officer reports to Fair Wind management staff and is responsible to the assigned captain of the flight for the conduct and execution of assigned duties.
First officer duties include but are not limited to:
- Availability to perform flight or non-flight duties 365 days per year. Periodically with as little as 24 hours' notice. Time off and vacation as per Fair Wind's policy.
- Provide an exceptional passenger experience.
- Demonstrate a high-level of professionalism.
- Perform duties as assigned during flight days. Including but not limited to: pre-flight preparation, flight and post-flight responsibilities, maintaining accurate flight documentation, completing and submitting flight documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Perform duties as assigned during non-flight days. Including but not limited to: light and heavy cleaning, acquiring aircraft stock, stocking aircraft, database updates, arranging future trip accommodations and coordination with departmental support.
- Be familiar and comply with all customs, immigration, FAA, ICAO regulations and company policies pertinent to assigned duties.
- Report for flight duty with required certifications and FAA medical, all current and appropriate for the flight.

Minimum Experience:
- 1,200 - Total time (all aircraft)
- 1,000 - Total PIC time (all aircraft)
- 500 - IFR / complex / high-performance aircraft (all aircraft)
Qualifications:
- Commercial Pilot Airplane category license with multi-engine land class
- First Class Medical
- Unrestricted Passport
- FCC radio telephone operators permit
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to relocate residence to within 1/2 hour of Rochester, NY airport by automobile.
- Must qualify successfully with a simulator course and check ride in the C525C.
- Must be fully Covid vaccinated in accordance with CDC recommendations.

- No violations, or FAA administrative actions
- No aircraft accident, aircraft incident history
- No DUI, DWI, BWI convictions
- Must reside within 30 minute drive from ROC airport
- TSA Criminal History Record Check pre-requisite to job offer

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher.
- ATP rated or ATP eligible with written test complete
- 3-5 years' experience in a professional work environment.
- 50 hours of time-in-type (CE525C)
- C525 PIC or SIC Type Rated from Part 142 training provider.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
