Administrative Assistant
The Borough of Ellwood City is hiring for the position of Administrative Assistant for Finance/Personnel. This position is responsible for a variety of functions in the area of payroll, personnel, budget, pension and retirement, accounting, bill pay, accounts receivable, and other areas as assigned. This position reports directly to the Borough Manager and works closely with the Bookkeeper, Billing Department Staff, and Borough Secretary. Qualified candidates should preferably have a college degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or closely related field, or a minimum of a high school diploma with significant experience in the above areas. Candidates should also have experience in computer processing and Microsoft Office suite, and preferable experience with ADP payroll systems. Qualified candidates should also be able to work independently, problem solve, have excellent communication skills, and work well with others in a professional office setting.
