The Financial Analyst will be responsible for duties pertaining to financial accounting.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Prepare journal entries and accruals on a monthly basis
- Complete bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Complete reviews of monthly financial statements
- Assist in submission of weekly payroll for Executive Management
- Prepare tax return apportionment for State tax returns
- Review tax returns and tax estimates
- Respond to Federal and State tax notices in a timely manner
- Assist with State Filings and Registrations
- Assist with Accounts Payable functions when necessary
- Assist with all Audits (Federal, State, Worker’s Comp, Dept of Labor, etc.)
- Assist with completing due diligence work for potential acquisitions
- Assist CEO and CFO with any special projects when necessary
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA License or MBA required
- General knowledge of and capability to operate office equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals
Physical Demands
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday
- Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Work environment
- Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
