The Dauphin County Technical School is a comprehensive high school with 1,100 students, grades 9-12. We have an immediate opening for a Healthcare Instructor to join our team. Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse OR any listed license/certified healthcare professional who has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree prepared in their field of practice and currently licensed by the PA Department of State in Athletic Trainer, Chiropractic, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, or Psychology. A candidate must have four (4) years of wage-earning work experience and must be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a vocational teaching certification; prior teaching experience is not required.
Salary dependent upon experience with a full benefits package.
Required documents: a letter of interest addressed to Dr. Karen Pflugh, Administrative Director, resume, the Standard Application for Teaching Positions in Pennsylvania Public Schools, PDE 6004 Form, copies of undergraduate/graduate transcripts, and three letters of recommendation. Pre-employment paperwork requirements include PA State Police Clearance (Act 34); Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151); FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114); School Employee Health Form (Physical and TB test); Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Forms (Act 168).
