Part-Time Opportunity for Customer Service & Sales Representative
Where: 26 Elm Court Stamford, CT 06902
Hours: Must be available to work weekends and days during the week as assigned. (Schedule to be determined)
Duties: Provides detailed bus transit service information to the public and conducts sale operations to the public at the CTtransit Sales Outlet. This position also documents and responds to passenger complaints, suggestions and requests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum possession of a High School Diploma/GED.
- One (1) year of office experience with emphasis on telephone operations and public contact preferred. Knowledge of region is preferred.
- Must have a pleasant personality and possess excellent listening and communication skills along with the willingness to work well with the public. (Bilingual is a plus).
- Must able to learn bus routes and schedules quickly. Must be able to operate an electronic cash register and balance sales receipts accurately.
- A good work record is essential.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, Internet applications and utilization of all relevant office equipment is required. Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Compensation: $20.92 an hour! Employees ride for free on CTtransit buses.
