The Cortland Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to serve as Assistant Housing Project Manager/Deputy Director. This position reports directly to the CHA Executive Director and involves responsibilities with on-going CHA operations and special projects. The successful candidate should have good knowledge of principles and practices of public administration including management, budgeting, procurement personnel and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with and knowledge of public housing and knowledge of federal, state and local regulations is desired. Applicants should provide a statement of how their work experiences and education match the components of the position. The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check. The salary range will be $70,000 - $85,000 with a benefits package including retirement, health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave. Screening of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
