BAS/BSBA Faculty / Aspen, Carbondale, and Rifle
Full time faculty positions begin in August 2022 with a 30 credit hour (170 day contract per Board Policy 4.12) teaching load annually. The BAS/BSBA faculty member will be the primary full-time faculty support for career and technical education (CTE) students from programs such as Digital Media, Graphic Design, Professional Photography, Culinary Arts, Ski and Snowboard Business, Resort Management among others to complete their BAS in Leadership & Management. The successful candidate will teach a variety of upper and lower division courses spanning all CMC business degrees from among the subdisciplines of Business, Marketing, Management or Finance, depending on qualifications. In addition, this position provides oversight to the BAS degree program, which includes coordinating marketing and recruiting, managing curricular content, and coordination of course scheduling. The position also coordinates with CTE program leaders to support student pathways from Associate of Applied Science degrees into the BAS degree. Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include: teaching course load as assigned, evaluate courses and assess student learning, meet established course, program and learning outcomes, comply with guidelines and policies, maintain office hours per established standards, develop rapport with students, assist with and participate in advising, orientation and registration activities. CMC Faculty are expected to engage in service activities such as campus and college committees, participation in relevant projects, mentor peers, participate in and assist with assessment activities, program review, student organization, recruiting and retention.
Salary range: $67,656.77 - $82,405.89 depending upon education and experience. Requirements: Qualified candidates must be credentialed to teach in this program, or eligible to be credentialed.
