City of Hope Medical Group Seeks a Body Imager to join Duarte team
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a body imager to join our Duarte main campus team.
This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 370+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.
Position Highlights:
Join our nationally recognized team of oncology specialists as we seek to hire a full-time faculty member.
- Clinical responsibilities to include whole body imaging of cancer patients
- Full-time hours working within an established team of physicians and nurses at a renowned cancer hospital
- Primarily clinical position with opportunity for research
- Call is one week in eight or better
- Newly opened outpatient imaging center with PET/MR, PET/CT, CT, MRI, and US

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a diagnostic radiologist preferred
- Experienced with plain films, fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and PET
- Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center, is desirable
- Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant or early career Associate Professor, preferred
- The ideal candidate will participate in clinical research
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
- Have or be willing and eligible to obtain U.S. NRC (United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission) license
- The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
