Wastewater Treatment/Collection Manager
Supervises the operation, security, repair, and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, sewage lift stations, Biosolids Treatment Lagoons, land application of Biosolids, equipment, and the Lab. Must be aware and maintain compliance with all State and Federal water quality standards as required by law. Must be aware of and maintain all records and reports required by law. Assist in collection system construction, identifies, and directs repair and maintenance. Performs checks and analyzes all lab tests for accuracy. Performs various administrative duties as it relates to customer service, budgets, personnel, wastewater treatment and collections systems. All other duties as requested and assigned. Valid Colorado driver’s license and Class “B” CDL with tanker endorsement; home telephone; Colorado Class “A” Wastewater Operator’s certification and Class 3 or higher Collection Operator’s certification. A category #113 Pesticide Applicator certification. Continuing education to maintain all certifications and skills. On the record with CDPHE as an operator in responsible charge.
