Job Title: Annual Giving (Direct Marketing) Manager
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Development & Donor Relations
Compensation: $74,000-$86,000 per year

Objective: This role is responsible for leading CCRF's $2.9 million direct marketing fundraising program, working cross-departmentally and with external partners to meet revenue and other goals for direct mail and online individual giving.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the development and execution of the annual program plan and budget with vendor partners and staff to meet goals and grow revenue
- Work with the Marketing team to identify the content and visuals needed to develop direct mail creative that supports the organization's communications and fundraising objectives
- In partnership with the Marketing team, develop and execute coordinated digital cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship campaigns to provide a seamless experience for prospective and current donors looking to engage with our mission in various ways
- Partner with development officers and other colleagues across the organization (such as Events and Community Engagement staff) to create pipeline strategies to grow high-value direct marketing donors' relationship with CCRF's mission
- Select acquisition prospect lists with vendor partner to maximize ROI
- Work with vendor partner to facilitate rental and exchange use of donor file list to support fundraising efforts and organizational objectives
- Develop and produce materials that acknowledge program gifts and welcome new donors; ensure accurate fulfillment by gift processing vendor; and manage inventory and provide monthly usage reports to Director of Finance
- Coordinate with Donor Services department and external gift processing vendor to ensure correct handling, entry, and acknowledgement of program donations and donor requests
- With vendor partner, ensure quality control of mailing creative and production
- Use Salesforce to create campaigns and prepare lists and reports for all program needs
- Track and analyze campaign response rates, expenses, and ROI on a regular basis; share results regularly with supervisor and vendor partners; monitor for accuracy and trends; develop projections and update on a monthly basis
- Manage a small portfolio of loyal direct mail donors and work with the mid-level Development Officer to regularly review and identify opportunities to refer donors "up" into mid-level and other development staff portfolios
- Manage and maintain historical documentation of all campaign activity and associated processes
Physical Demands: Ability to sit/and or stand in an office setting as well as on location. Also requires driving, bending, and lifting not to exceed 10 lbs.
Schedule: Full-time, regular business hours with occasional evenings and weekends
Travel: Occasional travel for conferences or meetings as needed
Location: Remote eligible - applicants do not need to be Minnesota residents to apply
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related area
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in direct marketing/direct response/annual gift fundraising
- Knowledge of current direct marketing trends and best practices
- Excellent project management and vendor management skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Strong writing, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office suite
- Reliable, self-motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all constituent information
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 5+ years' experience in direct marketing/direct response/annual gift fundraising preferred
