Chef – Fine Dining Bogie & Bacall’s Steak and Seafood
Bungalows Key Largo rewrites the rule book on inclusive resorts. Our intimate adults-only (ages 21+ only) resort sits within a botanical garden edged by 1000 feet of ocean shoreline, just a few miles from the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. We are a small family-owned hotel company that seeks talented and dedicated individuals.
Chef – Bogie & Bacall’s Responsibility:
- Responsible for strict adherence to recipe standards and food quality at our fine dining restaurant Bogie & Bacall's.
- Lead our line cooks and be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Prepares food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs with further direction from our Executive Chef.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and keeping the kitchen organized.
- Responsible for preparing fresh, delicious food.
- Highly motivated individual with experience in fast pace high-quality food that represents a fine dining steak and seafood restaurant.
- Position reports to Executive Chef. This is a passionate working cook/chef position.
Must be well-groomed, and presentable. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (30 Kilos) on a daily basis. Professional Experience and Education: Standard High School Education.
Requires Five years in the profession of Hotels or Restaurants. Excellent hands-on techniques, and ability to maintain exceeding standards. • Communication and Language Skills: Must be able to read and speak English clearly in order to interpret documents such as recipes and manuals. Other languages are considered a plus. • Work Ethic: Must be a serious professional.
