Medical Director of Emergency Services
The Medical Director of Emergency Services responsible for clinical and medical oversight as well as the quality of care for Emergency Services within Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services (BILH BS.) Oversees medical operations for Emergency Services in partnership with Divisional Vice President and CMO. Provides direct patient care, professional support to medical and clinical staff, and general leadership regarding policies, laws, and regulations.

- Specialized or technical skills required, including computer applications proficiency (e.g. Basic Excel, Intermediate Word, and knowledge of electronic medical records)

A qualified candidate must have an MD designation and be a Board Certified Psychiatrist. At least three years experience in a Psychiatric Emergency Services setting is preferred. Expertise in risk assessment, management, and documentation is necessary for success in the position.
A track record of demonstrated accomplishment in a community-based, culturally diverse, mission-driven behavioral healthcare setting is essential.
