Mechanic Responsibilities Include But Are Not limited to:

• Applicants should have or be willing to obtain a CDL B license with passenger endorsement, a Class 7 Pennsylvania state inspection license and automotive air conditioning certification within 90 days of hire.
• Applicants must be proficient in brake servicing and replacement, electrical trouble shooting and repair, Diesel and Gas engine repair and trouble shooting, roadside repair and trouble shooting, suspension replacement and exhaust repair/replacement. Welding skills and body repair skills are a plus.
• Mechanic will complete all other duties as assigned.
• This opening is for the Athens, PA location.
• Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm.
• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and have an excellent driving record.

All positions are subject to criminal background check, current child abuse clearance and to all applicable Federal Regulations governing workplace anti-drug and alcohol programs in the transit industry as specified by the Federal Transit Administration of the US Department of Transportation and CFR P655 and 49 CFR Part 50 and the Drug-Free Workplace Act 0f 1988. This shall include analytical urine drug testing, a breath testing for alcohol for: Reasonable suspicion, random, post accident, return to duty and follow-up during the course of employment.
