About the Role
As Human Resources Generalist - Talent Management, you will be responsible for driving talent acquisition strategies, onboarding, training, performance management and talent development initiatives, with a focus on employee engagement and recognition. We are looking for someone that is passionate about recruiting but enjoys all other functions of human resources as well.
Key job responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and manage the full cycle talent acquisition experience to attract top talent.
- Attend job and career fairs to promote Avidity Science. Develop relationships with local colleges and high schools to further promote the organization and talent pipeline.
- Lead and facilitate an engaging employee onboarding experience. Ensure continuous improvement to align with business objectives.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to retain and reward talent.
- Lead performance management initiatives including goal planning, annual performance review cycle and new employee review process. Provide coaching and mentoring to managers on interim employee performance concerns.
- Drive employee training or development initiatives to ensure organizational goals are met. Support managers with employee training and provide training to managers to strengthen leadership skills.
- Support talent development initiatives to promote continual employee growth and development plans.
- Coordinate company affirmative action plan and continually engage with our network of community partners to promote achievement of our goals.
- Prepare and report data for annual EEO-1 and VETS reporting.
- Power user of UKG UltiPro Learning Management, Onboarding, Recruiting, Performance Management, Time Management and core components.
- Coordinate and plan employee programs including Breakfast with the CEO, Wednesday Morning Wake-up Club and other fun recognition events throughout to promote employee engagement.
- Steer employee communications such as monthly company newsletter and electronic display communications.
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions.
- Maintain company policies and make recommendations on policies for continuous improvement and engagement.
- Manage employee separation process.
- Maintain organization, integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of employee HR files, both paper and electronic.
- Assist in maintaining Avidity Science Policy Manual and ensure that policies are appropriately aligned.
- Serve as a trusted resource to Avidity Science employees. Provide prompt, accurate and thorough response to inquiries and questions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge and recommend best practices and trends for continuous improvement.
- Provide back-up support for front desk. Perform other administrative tasks for the HR department.
- Other duties as required.
Position Requirements/Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of comprehensive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a recruitment and talent focused role.
- Ultimate Software (UKG) experience highly preferred; experience in some type of complex HRIS/payroll administration system required.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to set priorities and internal drive to achieve results.
- High degree of emotional intelligence, ability to build trust and relationships with employees, applicants and network.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
