Advertising Sales Manager
The Aspen Music Festival and School seeks an outgoing, resourceful individual to fill a seasonal position as Advertising Sales Manager for our summer Program Book. Ad space in the book is sold by season, and includes over 100 advertisers of varying sizes and scales. The hours required of the position flexes over the course of the season, from 5 hours per week in October to 50 hours per week in May. Published nine times each summer, the program book is the mouthpiece of the Festival, providing world-class coverage for our orchestral, chamber, and solo recital offerings. It is a highly coveted advertising location for real estate agents and companies, local businesses, music conservatories, national luxury brands, and more. Working closely with the Program Book Managing Editor and the tight-knit year-round AMFS staff, this position is ideal for a sales professional looking for the chance to innovate new approaches to high-end advertising. The Advertising Sales Manager is an independent contractor and paid a seasonal flat fee. The position does not include benefits. There is the opportunity for sales target incentives, and for complimentary staff ticketing to selected events.
