Primary Purpose:
This Account Executive will be covering Syracuse, Upstate, NY, VT, West MA, West CT, West NH, and will be required to live in one of the territory states and close to a metropolitan airport.
The Account Executive at ARUP has the responsibility to achieve organizational and territory revenue objectives while forging strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, as well as upper and mid-level executives within assigned accounts.
As an Account Executive, you must have the ability to collaborate in a professional and respectful manner with internal clients including, Client Services, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Sales Support and Finance to maximize quality, analyze profitability, and build strong strategic customer relationships.

Physical and Other Requirements:
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Communicate: Frequently and effectively communicate with others.
ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Fine Motor Control: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
Travel: Ability to travel off-site 40%-60% of time
Valid State Driver’s License: 1)No moving violations within the previous two years 2) No alcohol/drug-related violations on record with the Driver’s License Division
Qualifications
Education
Required
Bachelor's Degree or better in Business or related field.
Preferred
Master's Degree or better in Business Administration or related field.
Experience
Required
Three years directly related sales experience
Credit check
Preferred
Three years laboratory sales experience
Experience implementing strategy
Experience selling into C-Suite in IDN’s
Licenses & Certifications
