Grant Writer/Coordinator, Sponsored Programs
The Grant Writer/Coordinator, Sponsored Programs works to secure new resources for AACC by writing, facilitating, and submitting federal, state, and local grant proposals that align with the College's mission. The Grant Writer/Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with appropriate federal, state, local, college and non-profit rules, regulations, policies and procedures by assisting grant program managers, Deans, and Financial Resources Office (BFRO) personnel with the post-award management of grants and contracts. In addition, this position is responsible for the coordination, submission and implementation of formula grants from State agencies and also provides grant writing and proposal submission support to the AACC Foundation on an as-needed basis to enhance its fundraising efforts on behalf of the College.

Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum of two years of relevant experience
Federal grants experience and working knowledge of federal grant rules and regulations, including Uniform Grants Guidance under Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Experience with federal, state, and local grant funding agencies; monitoring and compliance procedures;
Ability to deal effectively with students, staff, faculty, and administration; program officers and grant specialists at federal and state funding agencies; and community partners.
High level of expertise with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to produce complex spreadsheets and professional quality Word documents.
Strong statistical and analytical skills; critical reading, listening, and clarifying skills; excellent writing, editing, oral and interpersonal communication skills; and excellent organizational skills.
