American Secure Title is looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist for our St. George office. We are looking for someone to fill this position who has a warm and engaging personality, who will make our customers feel like they are the most important people in the world just for walking through our door, and at the same time is excellent with data entry and modern computer skills. American Secure Title Insurance Agency is a midsize Title & Escrow Agency whose core values focus on customer service and team success. We currently have an opening for an experienced Customer Service Specialist for our St. George office. We are looking for someone to fill this position who has a warm and engaging personality, who will make our customers feel like they are the most important people in the world just for walking through our door, and at the same time is excellent with data entry and modern computer skills.
Primary Responsibilities Are:
- Entering orders from Agents and Lenders into file processing software
- Welcome and Greet customers
- Answers multiple phones efficiently and with utmost Customer Service, transfer to the appropriate party, take detailed messages
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and able to type professional email correspondence
- Complete Policy Write-Ups
- Processing documents and reviewing compliance for loan product
- Request payoff on existing mortgage loans
- Ordering all required verifications, documentation, and subsequent follow-ups
- Respond to client/customer inquiries
- Process updates/amends
- Maintain both paper and computer files
- Establish work priorities and action plans to complete daily routines, responsibilities, activities, projects or assignments
- Order office supplies through vendor
- Compile grocery list and occasional shopping for office supplies
- Maintain Conference/Closing room calendars and ensure room is ready for meetings/closings
- Clean office weekly
- Accepts other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
- Understands the importance of excellent Customer Service
- Excellent ability to learn and navigate government websites for file processing
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a stressful environment
- Ability to handle a multiple phone line system
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- Must pass a background check
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic understanding of Title Insurance Industry preferred but not required
