This position is primarily responsible for maintaining appropriate flow of incoming and outgoing goods and materials throughout the warehouse, while adhering to strict deadlines. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as related to production and company objective is required. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.


  • Unload incoming deliveries safely to reduce risk of product damage. Document any damaged material on freight bills and inform Supervisor or Group Leader. Verify quantities and content received using Bill of Ladings/Sales Orders and Supplier Packing Lists. Unpack, check, separate, and store materials received. Perform manual data entry in the computer system of all material received daily. Distribute internal deliveries as required. Assist with problem solving, inquiries, and handle escalated internal customer issues.
  • Pick, pack and prepare outgoing shipments for customer orders using a variety of shipping methods. Schedule freight carriers for outbound shipments daily. Ensure proper shipping standards to reduce risk of product damage in transit. Comply with the US Department of Transportation and International Air Transport Association Dangerous Goods Regulations.
  • Issue and distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to support production operations (DFT work cells, RIP areas).
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork, by sorting, filing, organizing, and bar code scanning. Manually enter data in the computer system, including customer invoicing and recording serial numbers.
  • Perform cycle count duties daily and inventory cycle count duties annually, or as required.
  • Responsible for instructing or directing other warehouse operators for cross training purposes as needed.
  • Perform OSHA required daily checklist for all powered industrial trucks.
  • Ability to perform routine duties, recognize unusual conditions, and solve minor problems.
  • Strong attention to detail to prevent damage and loss of materials or products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training new associates and temporaries agency assignments, internal and external customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to perform standard software operations including SAP, UPS, and FedEx.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to occasionally lift over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to infrequently lift or move material weighing 90 pounds or heavier with the use of proper equipment.
  • Ability to frequently walk, stand, crouch, stoop, bend, reach or climb for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to frequently ascend, retrieve material, and descend safely on a 9 foot rolling ladder.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, or work independently with minimal supervision, and interact positively with others within the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
  • Must attain and maintain a Department of Transportation Basic and Advanced Hazardous Material certification bi-annually.
  • Must attain and maintain an OSHA powered industrial truck certification bi-annually with an acceptable safety record.
  • Must be proficient in basic math and have legible handwriting.
  • Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts.


Required Safety Equipment:

  • Safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved
  • Safety toe shoes Other PPE as required per JSA

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 months related experience
