Job Description

In this role you are responsible for leading a large team (~300 employees across multiple sites) and directing all activities for client Analog IPs including Architecture, Design/Execution, Validation, Test, Delivery and Support. This role will be influencing leaders of every organization at Intel and have direct impacts to all of Intel's business product groups.

As the senior leader you will need to understand the overall Analog IP requirements for Intel's products, set the vision and direction for the team and drive strategies to ensure Intel client SoCs lead in the fast-evolving space. You will have to work closely across multiple groups - DEG, TD, CCG and engage with Intel's customers as needed to understand market trends and translate them into an industry leading Analog IP roadmap. The role this organization plays is critical in enabling Intel to be the leader in Analog IPS such as High Speed I/O solutions (PCIe, USB) and Client Memory Phy and more.

Responsibilities include, although not limited to:

  • Direct and guide the activities of research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying, modeling and analyzing analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components, interconnects, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Evaluate final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and make recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a Masters degree or PhD in Engineering and 15+ years of experience in:

  • Leading Analog IP organizations
  • Executive presence in engaging with Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer level with constructive confrontation and collaboration and proven results in leadership of large organizations
  • Strong technical acumen in Analog IP Architecture, Product Management, Execution, Delivery and Support to execute in the short term and develop an industry leading roadmap for the long term
  • Solving complex problems in a fast paced, fluid environment with a sense of intense focus and urgency
  • Leading a high performing team and delivering excellent results through team leadership and personal ownership, often under extremely tight schedule
  • Intel TD/Process development as well as external foundries and well versed in analog strategy

Preferred Qualifications

Candidate has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
