We are looking for an experienced business planning and operations leader to enable the team to execute on our product strategy and go to market. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Products, the person will lead a business planning and product operations team instrumental in operationalizing and aligning all the teams across the company behind a shared product vision and strategy.? They will also be responsible for the license and business model planning in collaboration with other stakeholders.?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives business planning for Product team with modern, real-time analytics and dashboards to yield maximum value for the business. Includes linking customer requirements to revenue to road map commitments to delivery timelines, for a full view of the backlog of commitments, and trade-off analysis of opportunity
  • Models business forecast from products and industry views, with sales and finance counterparts as part of on-going planning process. Tracks investment metrics and returns and lighthouse customer milestones and engagements.
  • Drives business modeling to assess low-friction and repeatable revenue model with customers (e.g. SaaS), and packaging / pricing options to scale enterprise engagements
  • Lead the product operations team to ensure operational alignment, processes and interfaces across the Product Group team
  • Support SVP Products with business dashboards and reports for regular business cadence, including Board meetings
  • Ensures PDLC (product development lifecycle), product requirements and delivery metrics closely align with engineering counterparts for delivery, aligning capacity, cost estimates for new investments etc.
  • Maintains product road map and commitments and tracks delivery capacity and throughput with engineering
  • Develops competitive strategy in alignment product management & industry solutions to inform sales campaigns (works with sales ops for delivery)
  • Manages process for field intelligence flow (with sales ops) and collaborates with marketing on campaigns

  • Minimum of 3-5 years leading business planning and operations experience
  • Knowledge of operating systems and development tools, cloud and AI edge computing
  • Strong analytical, financial, and executing on strategy skills
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external resources
  • Proven experience in defining and driving programs
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong experience with financial modeling, analysis and business case development
  • Demonstrated competence in gathering market and competitive information and assimilating this into a cohesive plan
  • Ability to accurately reason, derive insights, and contextualize recommendations relative to competitors or market trends based on foundational data and research
  • Able to understand the company's corporate goals and objectives, markets, competitors, positioning, product portfolio and internal organization


M.S., and MBA is a plus
