For our clinical staff, we require a 30-minute call response time which includes STEMI call.
Texas Health Southwest is looking for a full-time Cath Lab RN to join their fast-paced, progressive Cath lab department. Our experienced and compassionate team in Cardiac Cath Lab care for patients with Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular or Electrophysiology related disease.
Responsibilities: Circulating RN + scrub and documentation role, administering moderate sedation for Cardiac, Peripheral angiograms and pacemakers. Assist during Interventional Radiology procedures.
We are a Magnet designated facility, Joint Commission certified in chest pain, heart failure and stroke, certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Texas Ten Step Member Mother Friendly Worksite.
The essential job duties of this position are:
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
assesses the patient
plans the care of the patient
intervenes as appropriate
evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and inter-hospital
