Essential Job Functions

  • The Software team is expected to regularly produce written research, hosts investor meetings with company management teams, holds conference calls with industry experts and communicate with clients (both internal and external)
  • Financial modeling: Maintaining & updating existing company and industry models; Building new models; Maintaining relative valuation sheets; Modeling and performing statistical analysis on survey data
  • Research: Assist with the publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep dive notes as well other group products
  • Communication: Assist with client inquires and requests (internal and external); Must be extremely responsive.
  • Events: Assist with coordination of investor meetings (management meeting & field trips) and conference calls with consultants
  • Efficiently and accurately assess risk when business decisions are publicized. Must also operate in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Guggenheim Policy.
  • The associate must apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA / MBA preferred but not required
  • Experience in the technology / software industry is preferred
  • Ability to write creatively and concisely
  • Excellent inter-personal communications
  • Demonstrate abilities and willingness to engage with professionals to exchange information
  • Attention to detail
  • Location preference is SF but open to NY


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience with coursework in finance or quantitative field
  • 3-5 years previous experience with a preference for a technology focus
  • Solid foundation of accounting, financial statement analysis and modeling
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis in Excel
  • Secure and maintain applicable licenses
