HALO is looking for an ambitious recruiter to join our thriving, high-growth company. In the last 8 years, we have grown by 500% to almost $1B with employees from coast-to-coast. While we grow, we stay committed to the best parts of a small, casual and entrepreneurial culture that inspires our team members to work better, wherever they are.

This role is eligible for our work-from-anywhere program. Enjoy working from home or any of our nationwide offices.

This role offers an opportunity to stretch yourself, and make us better. Take what you have learned from your 3+ years of experience in high-volume, full lifecycle recruiting and translate it to a new position where you put your bold ideas into action. Whether you come from a corporate recruiting or an agency background, at HALO you will be our lead culture ambassador to prospective employees, sharing the HALO story with candidates across the country. You will embody our values of ingenuity, inclusion, and determination.

A day in the life

HALO connects people and brands to powerful, lasting experiences. We help our 60,000 customers cut through the clutter of today's media-saturated world to connect their brands to their customers, employees, and other audiences critical to their success. Our core businesses are branded merchandise, uniforms, and recognition solutions.

You have the unique opportunity to represent HALO as an employer that competes for talent on the national stage. While recruiting is your core responsibility, you will also be a key partner to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. In addition, you will help launch a new employer brand and activate it in the market with progressive campaigns supported by HALO's creative talent. Along the way, you will build relationships across departments and experience the HALO community of nearly 2,000 employees and 1,000 Sales leaders in 40+ sales offices and hundreds of home offices across the United States.

As a team member you can expect a culture of ingenuity, inclusion, and relentless determination. We also offer:

  • Flexibility | We trust you to decide when and where to work to deliver breakthrough results
  • Community | Small-company feel, with big company resources and benefits
  • Creativity | Be inspired by the ingenuity of your colleagues as they bring brands to life
  • Location | This role can work from anywhere. Want to know more? Ask us!
  • Learning and development | We invest in your development. Attend professional development events that interest you and benefit your career growth

This role is dynamic, varied and challenging, and will involve supporting professional and senior level recruiting across the country. As a full life cycle recruiting role, you will be accountable for understanding the business, developing a proactive talent acquisition strategy, sourcing pipelines, crafting business-relevant selection processes, candidate support, coaching of hiring managers and acting as a brand ambassador for HALO.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Provide primary recruiting to support growth and vacancies ranging from entry-level talent to professional and management level positions
  • Bring your upbeat, change-maker attitude to implement recruiting practices that improve candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Achieve results: time-to-fill, diverse representation, and inclusive experiences
  • Use your strong interpersonal, influence, and negotiation skills to get the best results from your colleagues, candidates, and hiring managers
  • Be generous in sharing your knowledge and passion across the HR team by making recommendations and business cases for change, leading change initiatives, and driving continuous improvement in talent acquisition practices
  • Manage and leverage relationships with staffing partnerships for contingent labor
  • Manage the candidate experience end-to-end
  • Guide hiring managers throughout the recruiting and selection processes
  • Conduct comprehensive intakes to ensure we hit the mark and provide compelling talent
  • Help junior HR talent to source, screen, schedule, and perform reference and background checks
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop a credible, modern recruiting center of excellence
  • Analyze reporting from HR Operations to identify continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative sourcing, selection, and recruiting process techniques

Sound like you? To apply you will need:

  • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting for a wide variety of roles, corporate or agency
  • Ability to handle multiple openings with tight deadlines
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making judgment calls with incomplete information
  • Demonstrated success working in dynamic environments, preferably in high-growth or high-volume recruiting companies
  • Experience working in creative companies and understanding unique needs of creative talent
  • Experience with inclusive talent acquisition practices
  • Candidate-first mindset
  • Personable, competitive, determined
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
