PT Non-Certified Tutor (English)

English Non-Certified Tutor Duties:

(Primary) Tutor students in English

(Secondary) Back-Up for Office Assistants

• Greet students
• Log students in and out
• Check in and out resources
• Light cleaning
• Test administration
• Answer phones
• We are currently working remotely so tutor needs to be able to operate Zoom and will receive tutortrac training.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must have completed English Comp 1 and 2
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 and a 3.5 in the subject area to be considered for employment. A "B" average in the subject(s) you wish to tutor is required.
• Must have 2 recommendation letters from English professors. The instructors can e-mail the recommendation letters to Diana Shokralla at [email protected]

Salary Grade: WRITE

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
