Coopera partners with credit unions of all sizes throughout the country, as well as with national and international credit union systems, to help credit unions grow by reaching and serving financially underserved market segments. Coopera is owned by Affiliates Management Company, holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League, and is a strategic alliance partner of the Credit Union National Association.

We are currently seeking a Project Specialist who will oversee the development process of Coopera's initiatives. This individual will leverage project management skills to create proposals, pricing models and deliver onboarding and tracking for clients. The Project Specialist will work closely with the Client Relations team to coordinate client communication and contract fulfilment. They will support the company's strategic directives and culture and will assist in achieving the company's annual goals.

  • Assist in business development activities by creating timely marketing materials and presentations.
  • Work closely with the CEO and provide support to new and existing clients.
  • Manage client scheduling processes, reporting delivery workflows and gathering information as needed.
  • Proactively creates monitors business opportunities with both new and existing clients in order to generate additional business and to enhance key relationships.
  • Work closely with the team to assist in client delivery workflow and management of tracking.
  • Develop onboarding materials, monthly client reports, preparatory meeting materials, presentations, and follow-up meeting materials.
  • Support in coordinating materials for speaking engagements and conventions.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring timely and quality communication with team and clients.
  • Conducts research, identifies and implements strategies for the delivery of products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a business environment, client support/delivery or project management.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Preferred verbal/written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision; effectively prioritize work and manage time between multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and other software solutions especially PowerPoint and excel.
  • Passionate about working with and serving multicultural communities.
  • Some travel may be required.
