Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Engineering Manager with Project Management and Construction Management experience for immediate employment for the St. Louis, MO or Austin, TX office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Experience with Industrial Manufacturing and Food & Beverage Projects

  • Communicating with clients in key roles

  • Managing costs, schedules and change orders related to engineering and construction with an acute sense of proper timing of change management

  • Assist in Business Development Pursuits and Proposal Preparation

  • General knowledge of E&C Contract Terms and Conditions and how they impact project execution and performance

  • Directing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities

  • Able to travel as needed for various project meetings and site investigations

Familiarity with project management tools for schedules, cost reporting and forecasting

  • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

  • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

  • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are designed and constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

  • Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management or demonstrated equivalent of 8+ years of related experience or AA/AS (US) + 10 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 10 YORE or HS/GED + 12 YORE

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project management tools for schedules, cost reporting and forecasting.

  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience successfully managing multi-million dollar E, EP and/or EPC projects
