What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will to join our Biosafety Development group in this hands-on role. Primary focus will be on cell culture maintenance and cell-based virus titration assays as well as in vitro viral detection assays such as qPCR and RT-PCR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Biochemistry
  • Experience in cell biology
  • General laboratory skills including cell culture, in vitro viral detection assays, and qPCR, RT-PCR and DNA/RNA isolation
  • Ability and willingness to work with/in a live virus environment
  • Familiar with good scientific practices
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, apply, and evaluate cell biology, virology, and mathematical principles
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and able to work collaboratively in a team-based and regulated environment
  • Ability/willingness to work occasional weekends (as cell cycle require)


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

OR

Associate's degree & 4 years of Scientific experience

OR

High School diploma/GED & 6 years of Scientific experience
