UNCLE Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Quality Assurance Analyst, focused on mortgage lending compliance, to join its dynamic Risk Management Division. Reporting to the AVP, Compliance and Audit Manager, this position is responsible for performing internal quality assurance activities on mortgage loan files as part of the credit unions pre and post close quality control program.

Duties include:

• Conducting audits of procedures and testing systems
• Conducting pre and post close quality control audits on mortgage files and reporting on findings
• Verification of all loan documentation (income, asset, credit, appraisal and title)

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of mortgage underwriting and mortgage QA/QC experience is required including knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA guidelines plus agency and investor underwriting guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan process from origination to closing
• Excellent people skills and high focus on collaboration and project management
• Experience with Encompass
