Overview

Our in-house creative team needs help with how we execute and deliver stakeholder requests. What we need right now is a Manager. Creative Services; an upper-level working role to help us stay organized throughout the entire creative development process and bring strategic ideas to life through creative ideation and flawless execution. This position will report to the Senior Creative Director and is a utility player. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. They are entrepreneurial thinkers, who can quickly adapt to shifting business environments, goals and tight, last minute deadlines, all while staying calm and focused on the details that get us to deliver excellent creative assets that delight our clients



Responsibilities

Manager, Creative Services is responsible for ensuring a birds-eye view of all projects and can predict overflow and manage available design resources. The role will focus on implementation of improved workflows, along with new project brief process. Successfully implement brief intake process, refine briefing templates, streamline SOPs, in partnership with internal project managers, creative team and internal stakeholders. You will function as a liaison between all clients to review, evaluate and accept all projects. You are truly the glue that keeps the Creative team moving forward and delivering outstanding results to the internal clients.

  • Client Service Anticipate client service requests, help clients sync their production calendars to our in-house agency calendar, gather feedback and reviews to ensure client feedback is maintained through-out the production cycle
  • Digital Project Management

    • Lead digital project kickoffs and regular SCRUM-style team meetings to foster collaboration, identify deliverables, establish milestones and deadlines, divvy up work, discuss status, prioritize action items, anticipate project challenges
    • Gather meeting minutes and recaps, translate meeting objectives into clear, actionable next steps
    • Help prioritize projects and assign to designers and other internal/external vendors based on workload.
    • Liaison with creative and cross-functional teams to collect feedback, approvals and move the projects along
    • Manage the delivery of strategic launches for Arbonne including, but not limited to, defining scope and expected deliverables, align stakeholders and influence decision processes, organize and drive cross-functional teams, determine success metrics, and track against milestones.
    • Manage and mitigate risks, anticipate bottlenecks, drive task prioritization, make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus constraints
    • Work with other project managers to identify dependencies and opportunities for collaboration
    • Effectively communicate the status of all workstreams across the projects/programs, highlighting issues or conflicts between teams to stakeholders and management.
    • Communicating individual project roles and expectations
    • Manage vendors to ensure adherence to expectations.
    • Document project processes and deliver post-project analysis with the aim of continuously improving efficiencies
  • Manage People Oversee project managers to ensure smooth processes across several projects campaign, monthly launches, print and packaging
  • Serve as a Key Contributor - Work with creative teams and internal clients to manage the calendar for designing creative assets for end deliverables.
  • Manage Version Control:Make sure the right versions go to the right people, especially when those people are clients, printers, or key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on Financials: Work with creative team to budget and manage spend for all campaigns. Knowledge of intermediate Excel VBA, is appreciated, but not a must.
  • Track Expenditures:Keep track of spending for development and production, seek opportunities to add value and reduce costs, enhancing profitability.
  • Take Ownership: Be accountable for smooth intake and delivery of the creative assets. Ensure quality project management standards are applied.
  • Research, research, research Research and gather information that provides clear paths to solution for new challenges. Present new, simpler solutions to identified challenges. Harness tech platforms to make processes easier, faster, friendlier

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Social and Digital Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in client services and project management
  • Strong leadership skills and people management
  • Experience in digital campaigns, with an understanding of social, digital marketing best practices
  • Understanding of digital strategy across several platforms: email, banner, search, social, landing page
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI, HTML, CSS, MS Office Suite, specifically, intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Smartsheet (Gant charts)
  • PMP Certification strongly desired
  • Demonstrated delivery capability for large complex digital projects
  • Experienced in managing external vendors to successfully deliver projects
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven experience and passion for building great processes and systems
  • Multiple successful global system implementations and product launches under your belt
  • Self-motivated, with excellent written and professional, verbal communication skills
  • Not hesitant to get hands dirty and do whatever is necessary to ensure success
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to judge several project details at once
  • Superior, sterling communication skills, the ability to be tactful and diplomatic but also firm and, above all, clear on email, phone, text
  • An understanding of social, digital marketing best practices
  • A strategic mindset, with a demonstrated ability to understand clients' business challenges and deliver processes that get to fast, excellent solutions
