Summary:

This position requires supervisory skills including staff scheduling and monitoring the work of a team. The position demands a high level of performance by providing assessment, feedback, and monitoring and growth development in regards to the daily program structure of the recovery housing. The responsibility of this job requires working independently and under minimal supervision and demands a clear knowledge of the agencies' policy and procedures including disciplinary and grievance adherence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Training and supervising the work of residential aids in collaboration with the residential manager
  • Process new clients thru admission and orientation
  • Meet with residential manager regularly to ensure program compliance
  • Training and orientation of all residential staff assigned to recovery housing
  • Observe and assure adherence to recovery house rules. Monitor residential staff in accordance to house rules
  • Coordinate transportation of patients to and from treatment outpatient treatment
  • Monitor facility needs; report maintance requests per procedure
  • Provide on-call coverage, as needed
  • Shall perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • CPR/Red Cross Certification, updated annually.
  • Course work in mental health including crisis intervention, Associate Degree preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, not necessary
  • Neat appearance and appropriate dress. Genuine interest in caring for residents. Patience and respect when dealing with residents, families and visitors. Willingness to perform a multitude of tasks.
