Job Summary
Revance is daring to make a difference in the aesthetics market. Come be a part of our journey in setting a new standard. Our 2021 Summer Internship Program is scheduled to run from May 2021 until August 2021. This 12-week program is designed to provide students the opportunity to get a better understanding of the biotech pharma industry. This is a paid internship as a temporary employee, working up to 40 hours per week in our Nashville location.

Dare to make a difference? Be ready to be feel valued, developed, engaged, and empowered. The Human Resources team at Revance Therapeutics is looking for an energized HR Intern to work with our team this summer.

As an Intern in our HR function, you will have the opportunity to partner with various functions across the organization supporting various initiatives that will help to drive employee engagement, grow our talent, champion diversity & inclusion efforts, manage change and effectively lead our people strategy.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Support HR initiatives and projects
Gain exposure to various aspects of the employee experience while supporting human resources & talent acquisition processes
Collaborate on the continued development of our internship program
Assisting with the implementation of HR initiatives (e.g., employee engagement; talent acquisition projects; diversity & inclusion efforts; performance management; etc.)
Supporting focus groups and other HR led employee events by preparing materials
Assist with redesigning the employee exit interview survey process
Prepare presentations, reports, and analytic insights
Collaborate with intern peers to propose solutions to real business problems
Execute a group project with fellow interns
Participate in the mentoring sessions, guest speaker series, and training modules
Participate in a community service program
Assist with the engagement survey action plan project
Other duties as assigned

Education
Current 3rd or 4th year students pursuing a BA/BS preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration or similar
A strong academic record

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of a professional working environment
Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills, and the confidence to identify and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus
Proactive and can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to work in teams and cultivate relationships
Intellectual curiosity; seeking opportunities to develop
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership or initiative at school, work and/or community
