Perrigo is looking to bring on a Human Resources Coordinator to the team located in Allegan, MI at their North American Headquarters. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Consumer Self-Care Americas (CSCA) Over-the-Counter (OTC) Human Resources team in carrying out various human resources programs, procedures and practices. This position will support HR systems, generate reports, analyze data and identify trends. This position will also coordinate and administer various employee programs and activities within the Business Unit and local facilities. As Perrigo Human Resources is in the process of organizational transformation, which includes investment in new HR Technology and Operating Model, it is anticipated this role will move within twelve months into the centralized People Solutions function, providing global HR support as part of a centralized team of experts.

Responsibilities:
  • Employee records: Creates Action Forms for necessary employee record changes into HCM. Verifies that all changes are accurate and have the proper approvals. Run reports for CSCA/OTC metrics. Audits records for accuracy. Respond to inquiries. Trains managers on Manager Self-Serve. Provide Personnel file information to COEs when necessary.
  • Benefits and Absence Management/LOA: Responds to associate inquiries about benefits or leaves of absences and support coordination between associates, leaders, and HR Center of Excellence.
  • On-boarding: Conduct new hire 30-day interviews and provide feedback and trends to relevant business and HR leader. Present necessary HR information at new hire orientation.
  • Off-boarding: Conduct exit interviews and complete all exit processes; submit exit action form for HRIS and No Longer Employed (NLE) form. Complete and send termination letter with unemployment notice to exiting associate. Support business partner team in discharge hearings including scheduling hearings and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Data/Metrics Management: Manage data from the HRIS systems to provide business metrics including running reports and analyzing data (turnover, promotions, pay changes, etc.).
  • Administrative HR Support: Provides administrative support to the CSCA VP of HR and occasional general assistance as needed to the CSCA HR team. Supports the HR team with the scheduling and execution of company initiatives and events such as diversity & inclusion events, townhalls, benefit meetings and events, engagement events, etc. Support the HR team in basic investigations. Audit MyHR SharePoint site to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
Required Experience:
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Exceptional attention to detail; complete accuracy, and strong analytical skills
  • Extensive experience working with an HRIS system
  • Excellent capability in utilizing MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Power Point) as well as outlook
  • Great customer service skills
  • Work well as a team and individually
  • Strong communication skills both in written and oral communications
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and adjust to changing schedules and priorities
  • Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with associates and leaders
  • Ability to effectively execute duties with minimum direction
  • Capable of training and providing instruction in both written and verbal format
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
  • Multilingual - Spanish or Burmese preferred
  • These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a HS Diploma or GED, combined with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience as a HR Assistant or Coordinator
