Amgen is seeking an HR Data Analysis Manager who will work in our Employee Services group. The HR Data Analysis Manager will report to the Sr Manager HR Systems & Solutions and will work out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. At Amgen, our mission is simple: to serve patients. This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a meaningful impact at one of the world's leading biotechnology companies.

The HR Data Analysis Manager will act as the key Workday Reporting and Analytics developer and subject matter expert i.e. gather business requirements, design, develop, test and deliver Custom Reports and Dashboards for HR, Managers and Leaders As a consultant, they will provide complex data analytics i.e. trends, statistics and historical comparisons, as well as, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Work "Hands-On" and directly with clients to effectively research, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting issues, in a timely manner
  • Provides clear and concise report retrieval instructions to clients
  • Perform knowledge sharing with the HR Technology Team and provide insights into delivering quality reports/metrics
  • Provide Reporting & Analytics training to end-user/power-user
  • Adhere to the HR Data Privacy and Access Policies
  • Deliver reports while taking advantage of Workday best practices and ensure consistent data definition and interpretation
  • Collaborate with HR Technology Business Analysts and IT to design and deliver new Workday reporting solutions, including improved delivery efficiency and automation.


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree & 2 years of Human Resources experience

OR

Bachelor's degree & 4 years of Human Resources experience

OR

Associate's degree & 10 years of Human Resources experience

OR

High school diploma / GED & 12 years of Human Resources experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • 3+ years of functional experience with Workday or prior Workday integration experience
  • 3+ years of experience delivering HR Operational and Analytical reporting
  • 3+ years of Information Delivery Tools experience such as Data Mining (e.g. SAS) and statistical software
  • Highly motivated self-starter. Eager to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
  • Excellent eye for details, strong analytical skills and thrives on troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Able to identify patterns, trends and translating results into actionable insights
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solid team player
  • Able to juggle multiple request/projects and initiatives simultaneously and strong follow-through skills
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities are required for this position, including the ability to evaluate complex data and make recommendations.
  • Understand data privacy and regulatory reporting requirements
