Position Overview:

Working within the Human Resources team, the Human Resources (HR) Associate will assist in employee relations and the administration of HR processes, including payroll, employee benefits, employee leave and FMLA, HR reporting as well as oversight of all policies and procedures, specifically, safety & compliance.

What you will do and achieve:

Administers employee insurance programs including life, disability, health and welfare insurance plans.

Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.

Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and

Ensures the organizations and plans comply with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to payroll, benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, immigration, recognition; and morale.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Provides backup support to payroll and may be required to process payroll as necessary.

Conduct new hire onboarding

Provide support on HR projects as needed

Who you are:


Bachelors degree; Human Resources or related field a plus


2-4 years of HR related experience

A proven track record of successful HR employee relations

Key Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA requirements.

Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and compensation.

Proficient in ADP HRIS preferred.

Core Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
