We are looking for an energetic FP&A Sr Manager - Professional Services to be a strategic thought partner and analyst for our Services organizations. The ideal candidate comes to the table ready to share ideas with Services Leadership informed by both their past experience supporting Services at a software company and an understanding and appreciation of Intapp's culture and challenges. Then, this person builds the associated Excel process and model to support the approach. This person is a team player with a relentlessly positive, can-do attitude.

The types of responsibilities included in the role are supporting the Services and Strategic Consulting businesses, including forecasting revenue, billings, collections, expenses, and key metrics. This person will need to be a power user of Excel, and ideally Tableau, in order to build the models and get the analytical answers they will need. This person will be a crucial partner as we define success for these businesses and track against it. Finally, this person will need a mindset of constant improvement, actively striving to automate and streamline whatever they touch.

This person will be an individual contributor, reporting to the Director of FP&A.

This person will:

• Partner with the head of Services and the head of Strategic Consulting on managing their revenue and expense
• Forecast Services and Consulting revenue, billings, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable on a quarterly basis, applying the principles of ASC606 where and when appropriate.
• Establish themselves as the trusted 'go-to' person in FP&A for Services and Consulting revenue and billings analysis, including for C level executives.
• Propose new reports for the Services and Consulting organization, including working cross functionally to get the data they need in the format they need
• Support the monthly close, including producing monthly reporting and variance commentary
• Drive forecast accuracy improvement by conducting analysis, streamlining modeling, and developing 'rules of thumb' wherever possible
• Ad hoc projects, as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 7 10 years of FP&A work experience, with a strong record of career progression
• Experience supporting a Services organization at a software company required
• Experience forecasting revenue required
• MBA preferred
• Tableau experience preferred
• Superb analytical and problem solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Superior Excel skills
• Adaptive Planning, Netsuite experience a plus
• SaaS experience a plus
• Experience working independently
• Innate ability to build relationships with and advise business partners, managers, and colleagues
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-starter who identifies what needs to be done, or should be done, and then does it
• Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
